I have for sale an adapter to connect any 2 hoses or tools which have 1.25"-OD ends or vacuum ports. A hose with a 1.25"-OD end is pretty much a standard in the USA. This adapter is rubber with 1.25"-ID ends and is 3" long.
I searched far & wide & high & low for adapters like this and I believe they don't exist, so I decided to make my own. I found a source of rubber hose with a precisely 1.25" ID. I believe it is hydraulic hose and it is tough to cut, believe me.
I use two of these adapters, one as a coupler for vacuum hoses and the other as an adapter for my Porter-Cable model 352VS 3x21 belt sander. This sander has an odd-ball 1.25"-OD (more or less) vacuum port instead of the expected 1.25"-ID port. Though this port is where the dust bag connects to the port's ID and I believe the port was never intended for connection to a vacuum cleaner. But now it is.
Neither the pictured belt sander nor the pictured hoses are a part of this deal.
