Royal Crown Derby 198 Imari c. 1882 5 Piece Sm. Tea Set(s)

Description

For your consideration is this wonderful vintage small tea set, consisting of a small tea pot and lid, cream pitcher and lid, sugar bowl with lid and two flat cup and saucer sets.
The set was made by Royal Crown Derby fine bone china of England in the 198 Imari style numbered pattern.
One side of each piece has a peony style rust, burnt orange flowers and the other side has bird on a cobalt blue vine background.
These have the line with short bar on the left and long bar on the right-side Derby date mark for the year 1882.
The miniature tea pot is 5 ½” tall to the top of the lid finial, 7” long from spout tip to handle edge and 3” wide.
The cream pitcher is 4 ½” tall to the top of the lid finial, 4 ½” long from spout tip to handle edge and 2 ½” wide.
The sugar bowl is 4 ¾” tall to the top of the lid finial, 3 ¼” wide and 2 ¾” deep.
The cups are 1 ¾” tall and have a top diameter of 2 7/8”.
The saucers are 4 7/8” in diameter.
All are in fine condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
All are marked with the Royal Crown Derby crown mark and 1882 date mark.
