    Nice set 5 American Sterling Silver Bigelow Kennard Shell Demitasse Spoons
    Presented is a nice set of 5 American sterling silver demitasse spoons. These spoons were made or retailed by Bigelow, Kennard & Co, and date to the late 1800s. The spoons have a classical shell design on the terminal of the handle. The bowls of the spoons have a gold wash. The back of each spoon has a monogram of F in script.
    This set of spoons is in great overall condition. There is some wear to the gold wash of the bowls, but it is mostly intact. There are no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    Each spoon is stamped and guaranteed sterling, as well as the mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Co.
    Each spoon is about 4 ¾ inches long.
    The total weight for the set is 76 grams or 2.7 regular ounces.
