    Description

Presented is a nice sterling silver salad serving set by Gorham. This set is done in the attractive Buckingham pattern, which began production in 1910. The serving fork has a nice pierced design. The spoon has an interestingly sort of eggplant shaped bowl. Both pieces have a faint gold wash on the business end. The handles of the pieces have blank cartouches, perfect for a monogram of your choice. These are good heavy silver pieces, very sturdy and well constructed, suitable for use together as a salad set or individually for any general serving purpose.
These piece are in excellent condition. The details of the pattern are crisp and sharp, and there is very little surface wear. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each piece is hallmarked on the stem with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling and the patent date for the pattern of 1910.
The fork is about 9 inches long. The spoon is about 9 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 213.5 grams or 7.5 regular ounces.
