GORHAM Ice CREAM Slice FISH BLACKBERRY 1872 STERLING SILVER AESTHETIC Serving

Description

Antique Gorham sterling silver .925, ice cream slice or fish server, in a scarce circa 1872 Aesthetic repousse Blackberry pattern, with bright cut blade. This is not a regular line, & I have seen some ice cream spoons that match this pattern. The server IS monogrammed on the blade (I will let you decipher), & date engraved on the back of the handle 1847-1872, measures approximately 12 1/4 inches long, weighs 3.805 ozt., is marked with the older lion, anchor G Gorham hallmarks & sterling.
The server is in very good antique estate condition as follows;
NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME SCRATCHING, WORN WASH, A FEW LIGHT NICKS ON THE BLADE EDGE & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN SOME OF THE 12 PHOTOS.
