    Presented is a nice Durgin sterling silver asparagus server, dating to around the turn of the century. This piece is made in a simple, classical form, with a rounded handle that has a pip on the back, in the old English style. This piece may be in Durgin's English Antique pattern, and even if it wasn't made specifically for that pattern it would still match admirably. The server is well made, with a nice feeling of weight and balance in the hand.
    This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    This piece is stamped with the Durgin maker's mark as well as sterling and the retail mark for Shreve, Crump & Lowe Co.
    The server is about 9 3/4 inches long.
