    Description

    Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver serving spoon by Whiting. This piece is done in the elegant Imperial Queen pattern, which began production in 1893. The bowl of the spoon has a stylized shell design in the center, and scalloped edges, in keeping with the pattern's shell motif. The bowl has a matte finish and a light gold wash. The handle has a monogram of 'MAF' in flowing script.
    The spoon is in great condition. There are no bends, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
    The spoon is hallmarked on the stem with the maker's mark for Whiting, 'sterling' and a patent date of 1893.
    This piece is approximately 7 3/8 inches long.
