    Description

Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver serving spoon by S. Kirk & Son Co. from the early 1900s, in their popular Repousse pattern. As the name would suggest, the handle is beautifully done in repousse work of flowers and leaves, all the way down to the bowl. The bowl of the spoon is an elongated egg shape. The construction of the piece is very sturdy, in quite heavy silver. This piece is clean and completely useable today, for any general serving purpose. This is a very well made and high quality piece of American silver work, and would be an asset to any table or collection.
The spoon is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The reverse of the stem is stamped with the S. Kirk & Son Co. hallmark, sterling and 925/1000.
The spoon is approximately 9 1/2 inches long.
    The spoon weighs 115 grams.
