    Description

    Presented is a handsome and large sterling silver berry or casserole spoon made by Whiting Manufacturing Company. The spoon is done in the Duke of York pattern which was first produced in 1900. There is a light gold wash on the bowl. The spoon is monogrammed on the end of the handle with a K in an elegant script. This spoon is quite large and could be used for many different foods.
    The spoon is marked on the reverse with a maker’s mark for Whiting, Sterling, Pat. App. For., and J. Wiss & Sons for the retailer.
    The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The berry or casserole serving spoon is 8 7/8 inches long.
    The weight is 100 grams or 3.5 ounces.
