    Description

    Presented is a fabulous quality American sterling silver cheese scoop. This piece is done in the style of the Aesthetic Movement and dates to that time period as well, circa 1868-1880. The scoop has a beautifully done design of a realistic mouse figure, above the blade. The scoop has a balloon-like terminal on the handle. The handle is monogrammed MRA in elegant script. We do not know the maker of this piece because it is unmarked, but the quality easily suggests a renowned maker like Gorham, George Sharp or John Wendt.
    This piece is not hallmarked or stamped, but we have tested it and guarantee it to be sterling silver.
    This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
