    Description

    Presented is a fine set of 6 sterling silver spoons made by Jones, Shreve, Brown
    & Company.  This company was a predecessor to Shreve, Crump & Low of
    Boston and was listed under the name Jones, Shreve, Brown & Company between
    1857 and 1860.  The spoons are done in the popular Olive pattern.  They are
    monogrammed MEB on the handle.
    The spoons are hallmarked on the reverse with Jones, Shreve, Brown &
    Company and Sterling.
    The condition is excellent.  The spoons have some surface wear commensurate
    with age and light use, but this is minor.  There are no dents, no splits, no
    breaks, and no repairs.
    The spoons are 8 inches long.
    The weight is 356 grams or 12.5 ounces.
