    Description

    If Columbus and his crew had silver coins when they sailed for the New World they would have had similar coins in their pockets. This coin is a superb example with little or no clipping. Rarely found without clipping. My scans are a bit fuzzy, but the coin is not.  Any United States colonial coin collection should have an example of one of the earliest coins to make it to the Americas. Minted during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella during 1474 until 1504 when Isabella died. Ferdinand would serve until his death in 1516. My coin is silver and is a one real.
