    Description

    Presented is a beautiful set of 13 sterling silver demitasse spoons made by
    Whiting. This set is in the popular Louis XV pattern, which was patented in
    1891. The handles are decorated on either side with flourishing scrolls and a
    shell accent at the tip. 6 of the spoons are un-monogrammed and have a gold wash
    on their bowls; 5 have a monogram of the letter S; one has a monogram of the
    name Edna and one has a monogram on its bowl of the initials FGC.
    The backs bear the old Whiting hallmark, sterling and patent 1891.
    This set is in fabulous condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits,
    no monogram removals and no repairs.
    Each spoon measures 3 7/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is
    106 grams or 3.7 ounces.
