    Description

    Crusader, Jerusalem (c.1150-87), gold Bezant, 3.74g, imitating a Fatimid dinar of al-'Amir, with legible Arabic mint name and date, "Misr", "AH510" (Malloy 9a; A.720)
    NGC on this one has put the date range as 1150-1260 AD.  My understanding is that, unless I am missing something distinguishing this bezant from the others I have handled, these are attributable to the time during which the Crusaders controlled Jerusalem until its surrender to Saladin.
